Get set for Chiddingly Green Weekend – interactive map now available!
If you want to help combat climate change, then make sure you put the first ever Chiddingly Green Weekend in your diary. Events will be taking place in and around Chiddingly and Muddles Green from 10:00-14:00 on Saturday 20th August, including a multi-venue Jumble Trail and a series of Eco Open Houses.
Jumble Trail
A Jumble Trail is just like a boot sale, except that the stalls are table-tops outside houses in Chiddingly and Muddles Green. We'll have stalls offering everything from beehives to DVDs, so come along, grab a bargain and do your bit for the planet by reusing someone else's unwanted items.
You'll find a map of stalls below. If you want to run a stall, either outside your home or in the Village Shop car park, just email [email protected]. We'll be adding stalls to the map right up to the day of the event. If you're a bargain-hunter, we've put together some handy tips for on the day. If you're a stall-holder, please read our information sheet (which includes terms and conditions). |
Eco Open Houses
While you’re following the Jumble Trail, you’ll have the chance to visit a series of Eco Open Houses around Chiddingly and Muddles Green. These are homes, gardens and businesses that have made eco-improvements.
As a break from bargain-hunting, you can find out more about insulating your home, installing solar panels and air-source heat pumps, running an electric vehicle, tree planting, rewilding and gardening for biodiversity. There is still time to offer your home or business as an Open House. Just email us at [email protected]. |
NEW: Map of Stalls and Open Houses
Our handy map shows you what's on sale at each of the Jumble Trail stalls (purple icons) and what to expect at each Eco Open House (green icons). It will be updated as stalls are added. Just click on an icon to find out more.

The majority of venues are in the village centres of Chiddingly and Muddles Green, but there are Eco Open Houses in Stonehill and off Honeywick Lane that are well worth a visit, plus Jumble Trail stalls off Honeywick Lane. All Jumble Trail stalls are wheelchair accessible. Information about disabled access to each Eco Open House is available via the map. Parking is available in the village car park.
