Who are we?
Greening Chiddingly is an active, enthusiastic local group working to create a sustainable, low-carbon and more biodiverse future for Chiddingly Parish and surrounding villages in East Sussex. Our aim is to get our community thinking about what we can do to tackle climate change and the biodiversity crisis – providing information so that we can all make informed choices – and taking action as a village to make a real and targetted difference.
On these pages, you can find out about how climate change will affect Chiddingly, and the most effective measures you can take to reduce your carbon footprint. There is information about various nature restoration projects taking place across the village, a blog, as well as news of our community events. We also maintain a small but growing Directory of local businesses and services that are committed to sustainability. If you want your business added, please contact us. Feel free to explore our website – and if you want to know more, or have ideas for additional content, get in touch. Better still, why not come along to one of our monthly meetings to have your say about the future of our beautiful villages and surrrounding landscape. |
